AMEX PC - how does it report?

I'm curious.  I have heard people talk about converting an AMEX Delta to Blue.  Do you keep the same account and history in this type of PC?  Is there any PC with AMEX that causes one account to report closed and another opened?

txjohn, if you convert from AMEX Delta to Blue you would keep the same account number and history.  The only change is a new card, IME.  I converted my Delta to a Blue Cash years ago and they only change was a new card. 

In reference to your second question, I'm not sure.  Maybe some of there co-branded cards but that is only my educated guess.  I hope this helps!
