Out of curiousity, what made you want to get rid of the SPG?

I was planning to begin traveling often but had to delay those trips and thought the cash back card would be more beneficial right now

@jwest in those 30 days did you use the card and get the spg points?? Also to get this correct, you PC from a card that has an AF (you just never got to the 1 year mark) to a card that does not have an annual fee (BCE) who did you talk to? I am looking at swapping from my Delta in a couple days to a BCE (after I get the 50k miles in my Delta Account) cause I already have a suntrust delta card.

I had yet to use the card so I didn't get the sign up bonus for first time use but yes I did convert from the AF card to the no AF BCE

And I spoke to a live rep through the online account and it happened the next day as I no longer see the SPG and now it shows the BCE as my card logo online
