Am I correct that there are different reward programs for AMEX Gold Premier and the Blue Cash Everyday?
Yes. The former offers membership rewards (MR) points, which yield the best value when transferred to frequent flyer programs. The latter offers straight cashback. The two can't be combined.
However, there is the AMEX Everyday and AMEX Preferred that DO use the same Membership Reward program as the Premier Rewards Gold card (and Platinum, Gold, and Green as well). NOT to be confused with BLUE CASH Everyday and BLUE CASH preferred, which each use Reward Dollars.
