Logged into my AMEX account (I'm an additional card holder through wife's Blue card) and clicked on View Your Special Offers out of curiousity and under Current Offers it shows: Premier Rewards Gold, Gold Delta Skymiles, and Blue Cash Preferred. Are these solid offers based on my credit? Wasn't looking to app yet but was surprised to see these offers. Are these pretty good cards?
Where do you see "view your special offers"? Whenever I am logged into my amex account I never see that tab.
Thanks!
I would consider those cards to be "pretty good".

same here.
This may have just been advertising.
If you weren't logged it, it won't be off your credit.
Once you are a cardmember can you no longer see pre-approved offers?

It seems to behave very oddly once you are a cardmember. If you click on view all cards, there will be a tab in the far right that says Preapproved Offers or something like that. Most of the time, it says Refer Friends and Earn Rewards. If you see the refer friends tab, you have no preapproved offers. Even when it shows up, if you were to leave the site and come right back, the offers are likely gone. At least that is my experience. I wouldn't pay too much attention to it.
I just got the green in february and I only have two open credit cards right now so I am not planning on applying for anything too soon. Maybe in six months I'll open up a revolver like Chase freedom or Discover more.
