AMEX TrueEarnings HP all 3

Applied for AMEX TrueEarnigs about a week ago, and still waiting for the card.

Just checked my CRs today and learned that AMEX pulled hard on EX, EQ, and TU. They gave me $1500 CL, a bit lower than I expected.

I also have a Discover More with $1000 CL (1 month old). And wife just added me in as AU for her Chase Freedom with $7000 (I requested and DW did it in 5 mins Smiley Happy)

Anyway, just want to inform you guys about being pulled hard from all 3. This sounds like Cap1 though :-)

Also, I would like to hear from you how Chase/Amex/Discover go about doing Auto CLI if they see one card with CL way higher. Please share your experience.

Thanks

Someone can correct me if im wrong, but when you are borderline approval, i believe AMEX pulls all three reports.

Re: AMEX TrueEarnings HP all 3

Thanks guys.

The reason I'm asking is when I applied for AMEX SimplyCash about 2 months ago, I got only one ding from TU. Now 3. How lovely.

I figured may as well bite the bullet now. With being AU on Chase Freedom $7000 CL, having a (personal) Discover and AMEX, I hope things will get better. I should have waited a bit before applying since my Cap1 Visa is still not reporting $3000 CL (I mailed Exec office in Oct and was bumped from $500 to $3000). Since I learned from this forum that AMEX business will not report to personal files, so that was why I applied for TrueEarnings.

Re: AMEX TrueEarnings HP all 3

Mine was baddie. My TU was 702 and my EX was much higher than that. EQ was 661 at time of approval.
