AMEX ZYNC APPROVED!!

I HAVE to share this with someone!! I last week was approved for Compass Clearpoints Visa. So I had been going back and forth on the Amex. To give you some history I had previously applied and was denied for both of these cards..I applied for Compass in 2/2010 and Amex last year.

I have a bk from 9/04, so both times I was denied by them for this..So I took plunge and applied for Compass Clearpoints last week, approved $12,000 13.24 apr..

I said what the heck let's try for a true Amex..I have an USAA amex but it's not a true Amex...So just applied for Amex Zync with all the packs I wanted, hit submit..it took forever it seemed and then it said CONGRATS!!

I seriously had to keep rereading bc I didn't believe it..I'm still in shock..WOW WOW WOW..

I started here in 2007 when I was 3 years into my journey and now 5 years later..

LOOK AT ME NOW..

I have a BK from 04 as well, and have been afraid to pull the trigger

Congrats on your approvals !! Did Compass pull TU for your approval ? What was your highest CL when you were approved for the 12K ?

Congrats! Even after having the card for a while I still have that "Wow - I really do have an Amex card!" feeling.

I wasn't only denied by Amex once, last year when I applied. I had been denied for the Compass Clearpoints in 2/2010 and I was just saying I was approved for it last week..

The thing I also find hilarious is I called to see about upgrading my Macys store card to the Macys Amex and I was denied and then I get approved for the actual Amex..

Sooo Crazy!!

Yes Compass pulled TU for my Compass Clearpoints..I was amazed that they approved me for $12,000..I thought maybe a few thousand bc it is a bank and they are somewhat strict..My highest CL before this one was a NFCU Mastercard @ $20,000..Hope this helps!!
