Re: AMEX ZYNC - Update - PC options

Hello All! Hope you had a Great April Fools Day!
This news about the Zync is very disappointing. I had intended to keep the card since it's been discontinued but I just can't pay for a card that I can't get the AF back in rewards- special or no. :-( Looks like Zync will be leaving my wallet.

So that means you can pair a Senior Green with AMEX Blue to earn regular MR points at $35 AF.

What I hate is the consumer has no power in these contracts. I get the card and 6 months later they strip it bear.

When you use your card, you agree to T&C (it is printed on your card). T&C stated that AMEX has the right to change the term at its will.

Re: AMEX ZYNC - Update - PC options

Seem slike it might be time to let the Unicorn become extinct with no rewards at all. I already have 2 Amex revolvers, I was only going to keep it because it is so unique. Smiley Happy I like having a NPSL charge card just in case but I can do without it. I'll have to look at the other charge cards and see if there's anything I like.

Re: AMEX ZYNC - Update - PC options

I have the hard limit Zync. If I change it to a senior version of green or gold, will my hard limit be gone??

Great link. They do have a lot of selections indeed.

Re: AMEX ZYNC - Update - PC options

What a sad demise to what used to be my favorite card! I'll have to see when I call what the options are next week.

I do like the idea of a charge card, as it has greatly aided in my debt recovery. I'd like to go PRG, but rumblings of having to pay the AF immediately after the PC makes me not want to do it. I guess I could settle for Green for now.

Yes, that is my understanding.

I take it to mean, the Senior Green at $35 does not earn rewards, but confers full MR status to and maintains all existing points accrued.
