99% of my business spend is at lowes and I get an effective savings of 7% with amex lowes. January 1st I will go for navy business rewards MC. The plan is to get blue at some point. Maybe DH will get blue.
The navy card gives 1.7% rewards...According to the gentleman I just spoke with at AmEx, the Zync card is not eligible for a product change, because its a one of a kind card because of its "packs" system that it use to have. He also said that the 1 point per dollar will remain in effect.
Not sure which info is correct, just relaying what i was told by customer service.
A one of a kind card? I like that, makes the Unicorn card even more mysterious and exclusive.

Yeah, there is no chance ever to get one, if you do not already have it. Getting the black Amex is easier compared to the Unicorn.
I heard that we can't PC as well when I was just dealing with my frad charges. I was asking the CSR and he said he was unaware that Zync holders would be able to PC. Didnt ask about the rewards though. Maybe I just got an uninformed rep? I was certainly hoping for the chance to PC! Don't really want to use an inq at this time just for another charge.
I am going to attempt to cancel the card tomorrow (as April 8 is the last day for pack double points). I will first attempt to get a retention bonus (Membership Rewards points), then I will see if I can product change to a PRG with a waived annual fee for the first year (I already have a Platinum).
