Re: AMEX Zync PC Options

Thanks LS. Still deciding if a higher tier charge has a practical use for me right now. Would love the PRG but not wanting to pay the $175 right now.

I ont want to pay the AF myself but its more of a "want" card. I'll be running about 2K a month through it.

Re: AMEX Zync PC Options

Unless they come up with some AF discounts I think i will hold onto my ZYNC for a while, the PC will be one way, sure the PRG may be nice for year one, but then you are stuck with a $175 AF or a $95 AF if you downgrade to green. Personally if you want the PRG wait till January and AP its worth 1-2+ years of backdating goodness.that costs HP and a New TL  If i AP inj january the new card will be 3 years old. Then I can just keep the zync for the next year.

Re: AMEX Zync PC Options

The Green Card seems to be the most practical and versatile card, but I'm not sure about the AF, as I'm a student w limited income. I think I'll keep my Unicorn just for funsies, and worry about the PC later. I really want the BCE, but haven't been able to get my util down to a reasonable figure. Maybe this'll be the year.

Thanks for the info OP.

Re: AMEX Zync PC Options

What's the rush to PC? Unless the rumors about rewards being removed have been confirmed, the Zync is still the best value of any Amex charge. I'm going to keep mine as long as I can.

Re: AMEX Zync PC Options

If we PC, you think we'd be eligible for the 25,000 bonus points promo?

Re: AMEX Zync PC Options

I can confirm, I just messaged the Amex customer service online. They told me after 4/16 we can product change if the account is at least 1 year old. Also told me that we will still earn the 1 MRE point for every dollar spent.

If you PC you don't get the promo.
