Im going to take the lady in the email up on the offer to call her direct at the non 800 number, and see what happens.
Worst case scenairio, I never had a bankruptcy and been divorced for 7 years, so its got to be close to falling off, whatever it is.

Well after a full frontal assault, I finally got the report from Teletrack.
It turns out after all these years the crap the ex wive did fell off two years ago.
What's on there is payday loan for New Mexico (where I never have been) and for a date I was never in the country....$700 bucks...... some BS has been keeping me from getting an AMEX card.
I did some further research and found this thread......http://800notes.com/forum/ta-1b47a30428c1e14/fake-
All these people have been screwed, its thousands of people, its a sort of identity theft for those that never took a payday loan, and for those that did and paid them off, are getting screwed too
And I will tell you now if you have ANYTHING on teletrac even with perfect cedit, your not going to get a card from AMEX.
Im going to dispute this thing, and then Im going too sue someone, I don't know who, the reporting company, or Core Logic (Telemeter) for not verifying some BBS like this before putting it in a database
I was deployed in Iraq at the time....... OH MAN MY BLOOD PRESSURE IS SKY HIGH.

Hope you get a resolution to your problems quickly. That is mighty annoying.

I hope you get it resolved quickly. In addition to whatever you're planning, you may want to file a complaint with the BBB. A JDB had an erroneous CA on my CR and EX refused to delete it (both EQ and TU did.) I ended up filing a complaint with the BBB and the company (without admitting any wrongdoing, of course) agreed to delete it from my CR. The BBB does have some power.
The FTC is a good place to file a complaint, also, but they do NOT take action on anyone's behalf. All they do is collect info about companies and then if there's enough, they'll go after the company. But it doesn't help you out in the short run.
Good luck! Keep us posted. ![]()

Filling a complaint with Teletrack is easy at least. I called and was done in 2 min. They said you have to wait your 30 days now for the investigation.
I called the reporting company and everything is automated. You cant talk to a person.
I dont know if any of you took the time to read the thread I posted, but you might take a peek at a few pages worth.
This has to be the crime of the century, and no one seems to care at the federal level. People in those threads have called every government agency in the country, and no one gives a flying ......... yea one of those.
Fox News was going to do a special on it, but I guess they never got around to it.
But my real amazment is that AMEX does business with a reporting agency that take the word of some of these criminals.
Im just shocked at that alone.

Well, here is an update teletrack came back and said they find in favor of the reporting party. So Im like really mad, and I start thinking, is it worth it to fight this thing any further, the thing will fall off in less then a year.
So I call AMEX to be sure that this is what is getting me denied.
AMEX says they need to do another HP, im like why? You have more copies of my credit report then I do LOL.
So I get an AMEX supervisor, and they look at it, an say yes, absolutely, teletrack is the only reason we wont issue you a card.
Im still in disbelief, mybe denial LOL....
Long story short I sent the creditor and teletrac intent to sue naming defamation and financial injury using US Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, No. 00-15946, Nelson vs. Chase Manhattan as precedent law.
It was a huge letter wont bore you with it lol.
I dont know why I cant let this one go, its the point of the matter I guess.
How bout you guys, would you just let it go, or try to be a pain and make them work for it.
Sometimes I feel like alot people in these type of situations just blow it off, and thats why these companies can get away with it.

Might as well try to stick it to them. Its so annoying how everyone is so "powerless" to do anything to fix anything, wrong or right. Its always a game of phone calls and passing the blame to the other party.

I agree, you should go for it. It's because of people like you that don't stand for the injustice that we have better laws in place. I wish more people took the time to pursue the obvious wrongs.
