AMEX invitations

I recently opend my first AMEX - Delta Gold, on June 6th.  Since then I have been getting tons (5 to date) of invitations via US Post and email to apply for other AMEX products, Blue Sky, BCP x2, PRG x2.  Is this normal or do they really want me to apply for other products?

What I think is a little odd though, is they are "invitations" to apply, not pre-approvals.  

I'm tempted to take the PRG offer with 50K bonus MR points but I just added 4 accounts to my previous 4.  I need someone to talk me out of it.  My AAoA just dropped from 6 years to 4.4 years.

As long as your signed in it's a SP if denied HP if approved. If it's a card that you can use or it has a really good sign up bonus I don't see a reason not to apply.
