Bsong, apply for the prg IMO. PC it to green a year later if u don't need it, or close the account entirely.

I read your post about your 2 approvals! Congrats! Can you confirm that it was only 1 pull?

Sorry, I couldn't confirm yet.

Today, Creditkarma reported that I have only 1 inquiry from AMEX. But it is too soon to conclude that I will have only 1 inquiry as someone mentioned that in his case, another inquiry comes after three days the first inquiry was posted.

Also, I have no idea about the inquiry on EX and EQ report.

Just wanted to give everyone an UPDATE!!!

Since I posted this thread, Ive been thinking really hard if I should apply for the GREEN that i was "selected to apply" for.

Ive read all the threads I was able to find about chances of approval and it seemed like it was a 70% approval rate.

So.... I said Eff it! I dont want to be an AU anymore and would rather apply for my own and took my chances.

Results:

APPROVAED FOR THE GREEN!

In the past, people also said that if you're approved, APPLY RIGHT AWAY FOR ANOTHER CARD so I did!!

I've been wanting the BCE card so bad and again said... Eff it!

Results:

APPROVED ALSO!!!! Just dont know the limit yet, plan to call after work to find out....

WOOT-WOOT!!!... Im so juiced right now... Cant beleive Im "IN WITH AMEX!"...
