Re: AMEX reporting on CR

Well, I haven't had an acct with them for years. But that's what I was thinking:  maybe because the acct is backdated, it reported earlier than most people are experiencing here.

Re: AMEX reporting on CR

All my prior AmEx cards--all backdated--had taken about 2 months before reporting on the CRAs.

However, my most recent Amex card reported on the CRAs in about 3 weeks.  I think it depends on where in the cycle you're approved.

+1.   I agree, it probably has to do with how close your approval date is to the statement closing date.

My ZYNC was approved Nov 6, and it wasn't on my reports as of Dec 19th but it was showing on the first report I pulled in early January.

Re: AMEX reporting on CR

I was approved Jan 27th and it still hasn't updated. Second statement just came out this morning.

I'm curious as all heck to see what effect it has on my score but in the bigger picture it really doesn't matter. I pushed payments through the bank account to make sure no balance reported, and that's the important thing.
