AMEX sending offers since Zync approval

AMEX has sent me multiple offers since approving for Zync in December. The sign up offers are enticing - would they approve me for a new card after just 2 months with them? Latest offer is 25k bonus points and no AF for the Premier Gold card. Thanks!

Re: AMEX sending offers since Zync approval

I've got 5 months on the Zync and was just denied for the BCE...membership length being cited as one of the reasons. But, as always, YMMV.

It's only a soft pull if you don't get approved, just so you know!

Re: AMEX sending offers since Zync approval

I tried for BCE a few months after getting  ZYNC only to end up finally speaking to a nice woman on the phone who sounded like I was "close" to being approved  (you know that tone of voice, like they could almost push  through an ok but not quite).

So I ended up applying for Discover, and getting it with a better CL than I would have expected from AMEX and with no AF  Smiley Happy

I had not received any offers from AMEX however, nor have I so far.  I didn't expect any nor had I given it any thought.

Well - pulled the trigger since it would only be a soft. Got the pending review/14 day message - better than an immediate decline. Fingers and toes crossed...

I'm just curious.  Are you receiving these offers through the mail or on their website?  I'm approaching 6 months on my Zync.

When I applied for my Blue in December 2011, I was pre-selected for Blue, Green and Zync.  Got the Blue first,  then in January they still showed pre-selected for Zync, so app'd and instant approval NPSL,  so its possible. I my TU from walmart was 711, EU and EQ were less. AAoA was about 15 months then longest account was 3 years 9 months. So you can get multiple cards in a couple months, not sure about Gold or Cash cards, but the lower cards should be possible.

Cards: Chase Southwest 20k & CSR 17k & CSP 10k & FNBO 30k Oregon Duck 5k, & AMEX BCP 32.5k & Amex Magnet 15k&amg; Hilton Surpass 7.5k & Delta Gold 12k & Zync NPSL, Fidelity AMEX 17k Commerce5.9k & Cash Forward 7.5k & Sams Club MC 20k, Paypal Extras MC 10k, Paypal Credit 7.25k CapOne Venture 15k, QS 2.5k, QS 750, Amazon 10k, Walmart 10k, Citi Simplicity 18k, Discover IT 23k and a nice stack of store cards.
