You will have 30 days from the date the statement closed in which the annual fee was billed. They amended the T&C on my June Statement for my Delta.

Just a matter of degree! Others might think that going for sign up bonuses at all is pretty cheap.

Haha...frugal not cheap. I agree with signup bonuses for AF cards. It's worth getting for some while not for others.

I would just like to give a full disclosure, I have no intentions of closing any of my Amex cards once the AF posts to the account. I am just putting this out there as information for those who would be interested on the official word from Amex.
