Congrats!!! Amex must be in a good mood because I was also approved yesterday. I applied online Thursday and received the processing message,waited 24 hours and had to call. He asked me a few questions and gave me a 1000 limit. The card is on the way, I even asked for free 2 day delivery because I am super excited. The card is Gold Delta Sky Miles, based on the information here, everyone said it was the easiest to get thats why I apped. I do not fly Delta. How long do I have to wait for a PC. LOL Thanks to all the people who have helped me during the last year!!! I appreciated it. I need to remove my spade.

To add to my credit happiness, my 18 year old started working and went to JC Penny to get some more dress shirts. At the register he was asked if he wanted to apply for a JCP card and get 10% off his bill (or whatever the nonsense is). He ignorantly thought it was a discount card, like you get from the grocery store, so he said sure. He was approved! So he now has his first credit card. He's scared to use it though. I gave him all the right advice, so hopefully he'll do what I say, not what I do!
