I was going to say something but realized it's only a SP if you don't get approved.  And if you do get approved, then hey...Congrats! LOL!

I applied on 4/18/12 for the AMX BCP and got my welcome package and fortunately or unfortunately I got my EX Fico score........809.

Thats a good score but means that I did not get the best APR.

I dont plan on carrying a balance, it would have been nice to get the best APR for the feel good factor.

Still pleased though.

Off to update my siggy!!!!

Let's make sure I  understand this. Whenever you app with Amex and gets approved, they will provide an EX score. If/When they provide a score, this means that a person did not qualify for their best rates? So when no score is provided at approval means you qualify for the top iered rate? Am I understanding this correctly?

You routinely ignore advice some folks post here, why should now be any different? :smileyhappy:

To the OP: I have to laugh at a 800+ FICO not receiving the best terms on any credit card let alone an Amex.  Congratulations regardless, it is a sweet card!

That's correct; if you get the best terms available for a given credit product, there's no legal mandate that they provide you a score and the somewhat useful reason list.

By law, if they don't give you the best terms, then they have to provide you the full monty.
