APP spree moderate success...time to go back into the garden

I went on a mini app spree over this holiday season.  I learned two things...1.  some credit is easier to get than others and 2. most major credit card companies are real sticklers about inquiries

Approvals:

Walmart (mixed bag as I wanted the Walmart Discover)

Paypal smart connection (mixed bag as I wanted the paypal Mastercard)

Jareds (had to go into store with proof of income.

Credit union refinance car from 19% to 3.75%  WOOO HOOOO  this is the biggie

Denials:

Discover (only reason given was BK though it was over 6 years ago)

Credit Union denial for credit card (approval for auto refi so I'm still really happy about it, also advised that after 6 months with auto loan payments CC will be probable, unless I fall off the credit cliff)

Citibank (don't know official reason yet, but inquiries were hinted at)

So I will park myself in the garden for at least 6 months.  May not even apply for any more cards until after I apply secure a mortgage.  My scores are there for FHA.  Will update TU fico when I get my first pull through Walmart.
