You now have 25 credit cards with an AAoA of .25 months and total CL of $2200
You're well on your way, now!
That was under the beltline
i will not be apping at all for a while. i may close a card or two or 3. will this be bad?
yes it would and i believe deep down inside you know its a bad idea.
i plan on getting rid of cards that will never ever grow like cap1 and my BBY

New accounts should be kept open for at least a year and then I wouldn't close numerous ones at same time. Pick the three you want to close, probably ones with worse terms/AF, and when year is up see if they will waive AF. Kick one to the curb if they don't waive.
The damage to AAoA and other items on CR are done. Now just reap the benefit of the new accounts.
I did a bt from Cap1 to discover i plan on closing it when it posts. i can keep my BBY longer not a big deal and my other cap1 will get the axe at some point. i would to prun a few more after that but the other ones i want to purn are no AF's but very high APRS
ok how about don't do anything right now. don't app don't close out any cards just take care of your cards in your possession love them sock drawer them and then a year from now app for cards you know will grow with you.

i will not pay for something i will not use its like taking $40 and buring it just because. if i will never use cap1 again whats the point of paying another AF for it.
and when would i close these cards never? i mean if that were the case at 5 years and$200 later what did i get for that card some plastic?
I understand you are ready to get rid of capital one because of the af but, there is a bigger picture here. All i am saying is wait.If you feel you can't wait and its really bothering you that much then do whats best for you.
