Know your scores at time of approval? I'd like to know as I may app for a Discover soon:-)

No idea!! I don't think they'll likely tell me my scores since I was approved tho...my TU FAKO score was 722 according to credit karma and 704 accordintg to credit seasme. So my guess would be that my FICO score was in the high 600s to low 700s if that helps.

The truth is out there...
FICO scores: 764 (EQ) 732 (EX) 757 (TU) 9/14 | Goal score: 750+ (all 3)
Tradelines: Capital One QS NPSL (5.0k) | Discover IT (6.0k) | Walmart Mastercard (5.0k) | Chase Freedom NPSL (7.3k) | Citi Simplicity (9.3k)

I'll start with my oldest trade line to my newest. My oldest account age is 1 year and 10 months. My AAoAs is around 4 months now I believe.

1.Capital One - started with $500 CL. Currently at $750. Opened 11/2010

2. Macy's - started with $100 CL. Currently at $1,000. Opened 9/2011

3. GECRB Living Spaces (Joint) - $5,500. Opened 5/2012

4. GECRB Ashley Furniture (Joint) - $5,500. Opened 8/2012

5. GECRB Amazon Store - $1,000. Opened 9/2012

6. Discover More - $1,500. Opened 9/2012

My #3 and #4 cards gave me the biggest boost in credit due to opening it jointly. I am the primary account holder and pay the monthly payment on it but I had to enlist the help of someone with a much longer credit history than my own--aka my mom--to help me. Once I opened the two store cards, I had more revovling credit and my current CCs were more willing to extend me credit as well as other creditors were willing to bet on me. Was on a bit of an app spree before applying for the discover card. My CS will take a big hit.

I just requested a CLI from Macys like 3 days ago. I don't think they'd go for it. LOL. I have a feeling they'll be offering me a AMEX in a few months tho. I like to use my Macys card to get the extra % off but I don't shop in Macys that often to use it.
