Re: AU help

Is it possible to be an AU and not have them report to your CR??? I want to continue to be able to use the card, but having it report isn't helping my score at all. Could I call AmEx and ask to have them stop reporting without having them deactivate the card?

Current:
TU (5/14/14): 796 (Inquiries; 8/23/13)
EQ (3/23/14): 791 (Inquiries: 8/23/13)
EX (9/24/13): 780 (Inquiries: 7/2/12; 11/20/12; 7/30/13; 8/23/13)

Goals: No new inquiries for 2014, 800 for all CRs by 12/31/14

Actually I have a question for one of the mod's Has Fico08 gone live? What I mean is have they already taken off the AU factor in scoring??? I tried looking on the site but didn't find any new updates since the original press release...

The way that I'm checking to see if FICO 08 is affecting my scores is by looking at what they say is my oldest account. Since it's an AU account, if they suddenly start showing me as having an oldest history of 12 years instead of 19, I'll know that FICO 08 is in effect.

Even when they let it out of its cage, each lender will still have to decide if they are going to use it, so I think its effect will be that of a trickle, rather than a flood.
