AU on Parents Amex

Parents are getting an Amex-asked if I wanted a card as an AU-never had one and was denied when app'd @ 2 mnths. ago-was thinking about applying again  in about a year since I have 5 inq's on EXP and to let score increase(now it's 690). Should I go as an AU or wait?

Re: AU on Parents Amex

There is a probably an annual fee for all authorized users.  Do your parents realize this?  Who would pay the fee?

If it were me, I would wait until you had no hard pulls for a year before applying for Amex on your own.  Or, if you receive a pre-approved offer, accept that if you have not had too many pulls.
