AU questions

So my wife and I are considering adding each other to our seperate credit cards as AU's

i have 55k of available credit across 7 cards, she has 29k across 2 cards, if we add each other as AU on the cards with 0 balance and high limits will it benefit each of our scores?

e.g

I have a 20k NFCU she has a 25K Venture - both are in one persons name only;, if we add each other to the respective cards will the reduction in util and increased available credit do anything for our scores?

btw my util is 11% and hers is approx 8%  were both 19 months post BK7

Re: AU questions

you won't see much change in scores since your utizarion is already low but it could help some just for that purpose alone. otherwise it doesn't make much difference

Re: AU questions

thank you. so if we both drop util to 5% or 1% it would make no maajor difference in scores? i actually thought util was quite important in scoring.

Re: AU questions

it is but 5% is so low already that from 5 to 1 won't be that significant
