Ability to post pending MR points going away?

Just called American Express to get pending MR points posted. I was told they can do this right now but the ability to get "loans" on points is going to go away from July 1 (or did he say June 1?).

PenFed Platinum Cash Rewards (19.5k), American Express Blue Cash Preferred (18k), Chase Sapphire Preferred (14k), Discover More (10k), Macy's (700).

Re: Ability to post pending MR points going away?

I hope this CSR is misinformed. I just used a points advance to book a flight, saving me quite a bit of money. It is a very helpful feature for those of us who use the card regularly.

I wonder if it's card-specific? Which card do you have?

What's in my wallet:

Left to right:
NPSL ($10k approved)
$5k (EMV - Chip & PIN)
$7k (Visa Sig + EMV)
$7.5k (WEMC)

Transunion FICO: 709 (8/13/12) -> 740 (9/24/12)
Credit Karma: 772 (11/24/13)
Credit Sesame: 755 (11/5/13)

I assumed it meant that you are being given points that aren't yours just yet.

I have Green.

Go here. Scroll down to number 3. I am calling for the 60,000 advance on my Platinum card this evening.
