I'm terrified of FR though. I've been wanting a Barclay Ring for a while.

Very unlikely for an FR unless you're doing something suspcious, but still, get an Amex Green or something, before the year is up cancel. At least you'll have backdating forever. i.e. Get a new Amex card in 20 years and already that card is 20 years old! It has helped my AAoA so much.

With 6 month's of history with the $3000 cl reporting you stand a much better chance of a larger starting cl on new cards. As it stands now if you are even approved for a new card your chances of toy limits are almost guaranteed.

Garden. You answered your own question twice.

Congrats on your approval and if you decide to app for Amex- go for the PRG

That's right, go for the PRG first if you're gonna cancel before the AF is due anyway...didn't think about that.

I wouldn't recommend green over PRG. To garden seems like a much better decision. People are not required to have an amex and given the number of inquiries and your AAoAs i'm not certain you will get approved.

Denied for PRG. The garden was the right choice. Smiley Wink
