Now that's a term I'm not familiar with- What's an AOR?
I don't know what that means either!
App-O-Rama!
Big term in the CC traveling world. When you know you want to apply for as many cards as possible for the sign up bonuses so all the HPs will fall off at the same time, and you know you will be gardening for a long time after the AOR if you need to rebuild your score.
Interesting. I spree'd with my store cards.
I called Chase and had my card rush mailed. I asked about a APR decrease and was denied, but told that because I've had a good relationship with them, if I'd care to carry a balance for one month sometime they would happily waive interest charges for said month (wary of this). I also asked about increasing the limit on my Amazon card and when I asked if I should wait 6-12 months, they said 'a few' months would be fine.
6 months is a little thin to get an Amex.
I'd garden 6-12 months and then only apply for a really necessary card.
Amex is great but I don't know if everyone needs one.
Congrats! I agree with some others in here. You need to get your CL up on your existing cards before you app. Seeing low CLs on your other cards will only get you a lower limit IF you get approved.
Come hang out in the garden for awhile, get some CLI's, and then when it is time, app.
