Account Ageing Question???

Does anybody know if the "age" of an account starts the month the account was opened...or the month the cc was first reported? I've got a couple of cc's that took their time 1st reporting, and I'm waiting for a "birthday" score bump before I apply for a mortgage.

Thanks...

The age of an account is always determined by the date the account was opened, regardless of when it first reported.
