You'd be surprised. My ex-wife added me to her DSNB/Macys account(s). The account history ended up on my report.
While it is "nice" to have history sometimes, it's also a risk - my ex-wife missed a payment in 2011, and it showed up on my report as well.
It took a series of aggregating the data I could find (two reports to stitch together the full account number, finding her SSN and DoB) and finding a CSR who knew to get Consumer Protection on the line, but I had DSNB remove all traces of the account that should've never been there in the first place.
So, sometiems you get the history. Sometimes you might not want the history.
I was going to garden... Honest!
