All my derogs will fall off Dec 2015. I was thinking of waiting until then to apply for anything. I would like to buy a car at some point in 2016 and didn't know if I should have one more card in the mix?
I burned BOA, Citibank, Chase (was WAMU).
Like I said I was just planning on waiting, and working with what I have (minus Credit One) and just sit tight I guess. I'm wondering if you would do the same?

Good choice on waiting. Be aware that Citi and Chase are known to black list. I'm not sure if BoA does just mentioning so you don't waste inquiries. It has been over 15 years and still black listed from Chase. YMMV

I burned Chase back in 2006 with 2 cards that charged off and went into collections....Chase this past month gave me an 11k Chase Freedom Visa Signature to start.
Shelly313, how long ago did you burn Chase? How much for? and what was it? BK or just Charge Off?

I had one card with them and I'm pretty sure it was under 700.00 back in 2009. It was just a charge off.

I tried to GW write them about paying it last year in September but of course they forwarded it to a collection agency so they wouldn't let me. The collection agency isn't on my report though.

No there is no chase bank close to me. I moved in 09. im going to visit family this summer where their is one.
You better not try Chase just yet ....If the collection agency is not reporting right now, they could........it's kinda weird that the charge off shows on your credit, but the the collection....
