If someone could help clarify this I would really appreciate it. Is it possible to add someone who was sent to collection, but never filed for bankruptcy, as an authorized user on your credit card? Will adding them impose any damage to the primary user's credit and what will it do to the authorized user's cr? Thanks a lot everyone!

yes you can add someone to your credit cards and their credit has no impact on your credit... but they do have access to charge on the account if you give them the card and they have no responsibility to pay (only you do)
