Re: Adding son to my CC and AU?

ADD HIM TO AMEX AND CHASE! They will get him so much further... especially amex because of back dating later for his own amex card if he gets one down the road.

and amex will ask for his social, so it will for sure be added to his credit (still no credit pull)

I added him to both last night (and added the DH as well). The Amex just does make a lot of sense since later he will be able to back date. I really wish this was one of the cards I had in my wallet back in the day. You are right, it did ask for his SS#. So, I guess even if the others didn't ask for it, this one will get him on the report and started (and hopefully once it does that, the others will report as well???)

I added my son as an AU earlier this year to my Walmart, capital one USW and last month to my discover it. Check all CRs and all credit cards are on. He is 14 but wanted to start him out( I cut up all cards in his name )

You added your 14 year old? :smileysurprised:  How old do they have to be to start their credit? I just found that odd and didn't realize you could do that.
