Re: Advice Needed for New Card App

Paid down your utiliti down would increase some more points there.

I would go for amex green.

Discover and Chase. Apps them all then garden i guess.

I found it weird when i request my capital one mutiple times and they wont budge me a pennie for my credit limit increase but after 2 months new account like Discover,Amex report. They increase me from 500 to 2k. One day waiting before executive call me.

Re: Advice Needed for New Card App

Lyles Vegas, were you instantly approved or did you have to recon? I received conditional approval for a Chase Freedom last week after recon. 703 fico. Only bad is a BK from 2003 that is falling off next year.

Re: Advice Needed for New Card App

Thanks everyone for your advice.  I just sent an e-mail to the executive office for Capital One this morning.  A few hours later I recieved a phone call from the Executive Office.  The rep stated they should be able to expand my credit limit and give me rewards on my current card.  So, I will hold and see what comes of the request.  If nothing comes to pass with Capital One, I am moving them to the sock drawer.  I'll let you all know what happens.

Re: Advice Needed for New Card App

One more question...Will my one late utility payment even factor in when getting a revolver?
