Advice on calling to get a declined app approved?

I just spoke to a representative from Chase because I got the 7-10 days message after applying for three Chase cards in one day, the other two were approved. He said there is no information about why my Chase Sapphire Preferred app was declined and if he had to guess, it's because I did two other Chase applications in the same day. He gave me the number to speak to the lending department tomorrow about possibly getting that declined application reveresed.

So do you have any success stories of getting a declined application approved and what should I say?

Well, 3 cards from any lender in one day is pushing it, for sure. You got two good approvals it looks like. You might have reached the amount that they are willing to lend to you at this time.

Wish I could give you a good reason, but I can't think of one right now.

What where the other two cards and their limits? U may be able to move some of the limits to the csp. If they say no just try to explain to them u want to build a relationship with them. Explain what u were gonna use the cards for. Tell them u want to move all your checking accounts over to them. Be ready to explain why u apped for three cards and also ready to explain any baddies u have on your report
