I tried Sallie Mae they denied me because of the CO then because of the limited account opened.
Yesterday CU (approved) $500. Chase Freedom (denied), Barclay Sallie Mae (denied). Today Discover It (denied)
Oh well guess I'll wait until next year and try again. I'll have clean reports across the board with 2 CCs reporting and an auto loan.
I'd also look into a CU card. They often give high starting limits which can open the door for higher starting limits on future cards. CU cards typically have extremely low interest rates as well.
Edit: I see you already did so.
Yeah i opened the card yesterday they pull TU so I knew I was good. Got the auto loan at 3.8% and their Platinum Visa Rewards at 7.99%. They tried to get me $2500 starting limit but haven't had my Cap 1 open long enough.
