After 18 years Shell Gas Cc Closed

Hello Fico friends, I am so upset with the hubby..After being with Citi shell gas card for 18 years and terrible customer service he closes the Cc. This is really going to ding his credit score!!😨

Unless its his only card or he relies on it for util, closed with a balance, its not going to hurt score. Card stays on report for 10+ years.

These things happen. It probably won't have a huge impact, although that depends on the thickness of his file and other card ages.
