Update:

I got letter from GE today for DW , asking to fill out form SSA-89 , its for SS# verification,  and in the letter it states, that lexis nexis is acting as GE's agent,  both GE and lexis nexis are listed on SSA-89 form, so looks like its lexis nexis in action after getting contract from GE. It does not ask DW for anything else just to sign pre filled ssa-89 form and mail back. and letter says after sending the form back , the charging privileges MAYBE  restored. by the way its almost 3 months since our accounts are blocked. I think i should be getting the same letter in the mail soon.

More and more, this is sounding like a rather zealous fraud investigation.  However, it seems others than had similar reviews had theirs resolved much more quickly.   Perhaps the high CLs involved is what's causing all the issue.
