Better in what way(s)? Are limits, approvals and inquiry snesitivty all that matter to you?
I'm not a DCU member yet but here are a couple of things I like about Alliant:
Does anyone have any experience with auto loans thru Alliant...do they require you to have a checking account to apply, or is savings good enough? ...btw, thanks for the previous responses.
Alliant is considered at the very top as a bank or "hub account".
This is due to fast (one day) ACH transfers, good interest rates on checking/savings, large ATM network, bill pay, online interface, and so on. USAA is also at the top, but pays no or negligible interest on checking/savings.
For lending products, I'd probably favor DCU.
