I recently had a ding on my credit report by AMSHER for $693, due to hospital bills because I don't have insurance. This inevitably dropped my score by 40 points. It's my first account in collections but I know I have 2 more following it from the other bills. I wanted to know if they can just drop me because my score dropped so much? I have paid on time for 9 months now and I won't be able to pay my medical debts until August. So i'm very concerned.

I don't see anything in your wallet that denotes paranoid CCC. Usually, Barclay and AMEX are the CCCs that obsess over soft reports and instances like this.
Edited to add:
You should also know that your CLs aren't sky-high. It is unlikely that a CCC issuing a $700 CL will do much other than perhaps watch your payment habits for a few months. If you had $10,000+ CLs, I might think they could CLD you, but not in this case.
It really sucks, I've been working on my credit just getting started off and then BAM medical bills. Even though i've had a perfect payment history and all of that. Credit is a pain in the ass.
Well my Wal-Mart score is at a 618. Hopefully they don't do anything, i'm just worried about losing my Discover card...
My UTIL has been 0% since April. I'm on a cash diet to monitor my spending habits. How long until they cancel my cards for no use?

Now see, that's a different story (i.e. "no use" v. a random medical collection popping up). Some creditors are stingy about not using their cards (AKAIK, GE-backed cards do not really fall into this category. My Old Navy card hasn't been used in two years...and they just upgraded it to the co-branded version). You might use them for a meal or such and pay it off right away to avoid this possibility.
