Re: Am I pre-approved?

Those are just offers. However BofA does have a pre-approval offer area in the credit cards section. Give that a shot! That's how I got my 123.

Re: Am I pre-approved?

I assumed that the pre-screened opt-out notice made it a pre-approval... I looked on the terms and conditions for the card and didn't see a pre-approved interest rate nor an opt out notice there.  Maybe ill call these jokers..

Hey mauwow0682!

+1.... check out the website and there is a pre-approval link.  Check to see if you are pre-approved for any of their cards there.  :smileyhappy:  Good advice!

Re: Am I pre-approved?

Someone posted here once that BOA states your name, such as, "Joan, this offer has been found for you," or something like that. If it does not state your name, it is just an offer. Correct me if I am mistaken.

Re: Am I pre-approved?

most of the time a pre-approval has the following:

1. your name, and other basic info such as address.

2. invitation code to apply (if you got it in the mail).

3. what your exact APR is going to be (for credit cards).

4. opt-out option
