The next major credit card i need is an amex but i don't want
to have to get charge cards, I rather just go straight for what i want.
Here is my situation.
Discover 600/4500 - 7mo
Chase 0 /3000 - 6 mo
Barclays 0/ 750 - 6mo
WellsF 0/ 300 -1yr 4mo
Macys AU 0/ 500 - 6yr 9mo
SallieMae- 4k bal - 1yr 9mo
EX- 721 EQ- 729 TU?
inq-3 inq-2
20yr., 58k, no negatives on report.
I think i have a strong shot at approval.
Same logic with me - I also didn't want charge cards with AF
Approved for BCE with ~1 yr history and ~716 EX
I'd say go for it for sure if you want it.
also I was an AU on my dads amex in 2006
but I think it just had my first name initial then my last name.
It isn't on my report.,
would I still get backdating?

i dont want to say no but i believe they stopped doing au backdates. its only if you had an account and opened another card.
