Am I ready for BCE?

The next major credit card i need is an amex but i don't want

to have to get charge cards, I rather just go straight for what i want.

Here is my situation.

Discover 600/4500 - 7mo

Chase        0 /3000 - 6 mo

Barclays     0/   750 - 6mo

WellsF        0/   300 -1yr 4mo

Macys AU   0/  500 - 6yr 9mo

SallieMae- 4k bal    - 1yr 9mo

EX- 721 EQ- 729 TU?

inq-3      inq-2

20yr., 58k, no negatives on report.

I think i have a strong shot at approval.

Re: Am I ready for BCE?

What are you waiting for? Do it and fast so you get the 2012 member date. Not that you need the backdating with 20 years lol. But seriously I think you have a great chance.
NFCU cash rewards 10,000 -Chase Sapphire Preferred 6,900-Chase Slate 6,000- Amazon 10,000 - Walmart 10,000- lowes 12,000 - Kay jewelers 7,500 - Amex Zync NPSL - CarCare One 500

Re: Am I ready for BCE?

Same logic with me - I also didn't want charge cards with AF

Approved for BCE with ~1 yr history and ~716 EX

I'd say go for it for sure if you want it.

In my wallet now: Amex PRG NPSL, Amex BCE $15k $17k (thanks to recent CLI), Chase Freedom 11k, CSP $6k, Chase United ME $5k, Citi Dividend $5.6k, Discover It $4.5k and a handful of other cards...
TU Dec 2013 - 752Sep 2013 - 764 - new all time maximum

Obsolete data aboveCurrent TU - probably around ~810, only using a few Chase & BofA cards now, not applying for much until we buy a house

Re: Am I ready for BCE?

also I was an AU on my dads amex in 2006

but I think it just had my first name initial then my last name.

It isn't on my report.,

would I still get backdating?
