I think the same thing..I applied for a few of their cards after getting approved for Walmart with a $150 limit!!! And I was denied for every other GE card I applied for. So once I got that Walmart card in hand I ask for CLI and they said no. Then I called in again to ask for increase after 3 mos they said no. Have had a zero balance since Feb? and look at the account today and it is increased from $150 to $1000. Idk if that means they like me a little. I'm scared to ask them for an increase or apply for another GE card. 
Just my 2 cents ..NO they dont hate you......i had much success with GE until this..... or should i say last nov 2012 when i apped for 4 or more cards.....now nothing....LOL ...what do U or I expect....they r watching to see if we r needing this or over extending ourselfs....go into the garden and wait ..I'm in there...so far so good ....i was afraid of damaging they same thing i was trying to improve ....just my 2 cents because of my apping of was stupid and now afraid ..but as months go by I'm thanking my lucky stars

x2 got 2 ge cards in july, walmart has grown nicely from 800 too 5k, ae not so much but from 400 too 700, and ive used ae 4x as much
also do you guys have baddies or anything?
