AmEx Green annual fee waived

I called Amex today to close my Green card since I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary and just got the Hilton Surpass and BCP cards. The rep offered me a $95 loyalty credit to keep it open.

I guess I'll just SD my green card until for another year!

Re: AmEx Green annual fee waived

Agreed. That's why I had planned to shut it down. But, I'll take another free year.

I agree. I'll definitely try to get my fe waived next year, but so far I like my PRG.

Re: AmEx Green annual fee waived

Thx everyone. I didn't know they waived them either.

I didn't ask for it...was fully prepared to close the card.

I hadn't read any posts about them waiving fees, so I thought I'd share with everyone.

Re: AmEx Green annual fee waived

Congrats good to know they will waive it !!!

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
