My dad product changed his AmEx card from a Blue to Blue Cash Everyday. Is he eligible for the $50 in Rewards and the free year of Amazon Prime if he spends $1000 or is the promotion only for new customers?
Has anyone had any luck in getting the reps to give you the promo offer with the product change?

That sucks Apparently he wasn't told by the rep that he'd lose his points from Blue if he PCed (and he lost points worth ~$140) so I was kinda hoping he could at least get the promo. Oh well
If during the call he asked would he lose his points and was told no the call can be reviiewed and possibly get those back.
If he didn't ask OUCH gone
I don't think he asked. Oh well.

If this was recent, I would call them up and see if they can reverse or issue him some kind of goodwill credit for those points. Can't hurt to ask.
