Re: Amazon Store Card: Closed on accident

this happened to me several years ago with CapOne. I got tired of waiting on hold so I hit the cancel card selection, thinking someone would surely pick up in an effort not to lose their business. They asked me to verify that cancelling the card was what I wanted to do (press 1 to verify or 2 to go back to the main menu). I was a little hesitant but pushed to verify, and was informed that my accouint was now closed.

I called them back and explained. It took a couple of escalations but finally got them to agree to reopen my card. It took about a week or so to reopen.
