Hey guys i just applied for an amazon store card a few days ago and recieved an email stating the denial, as i looked at the denial letter i read at the bottom that my score was a 424, and i was wondering how that was, so I heard they pull Transunion so i bought my score today from here, and its a 609, how is it possible they generated a way lower score then my 609? i know a 609 is low but im on my way in credit repair as i just bought a car and it dropped all my score down from a 650.
Does the denial letter show what scoring system they used and the ranges?

^ ok i just read that it states they used a credit score developed by them to make the decision from a range of low 300 to a high of 620, and they gave me a 424.
That's what I figured, seems like you are right in the middle for them (more or less).
At least now you know it's not them giving you a FICO score of 424.
Sorry you didn't get the card though.

^ its ok and thanks! no more applying for my until i can actually get approved for a discover more card or amex zync... i just brought my utilization down from 100% to 17%, i paid both cards off, but some reason on showed some more money in there, so ill pay that off to bring utilization down to 1% combined by next statement date. Hope it helps my score alot.
