Started $700 in 10/2013. Auto CLI to $1400 in Jan, reconned to $2500. Requested & got CLI to $6500 in July. No experience with Synchrony yet but we'll soon find out..........
Start $600, Current $4000 - now I just I hit the luv button every 6 months
My limit is $1024. Last used 2012. The TV we bought cost $1024. If the TV cost $8,024, I'm sure that would be my limit. I would only use this card for interest free payments. I've never asked for a CLI because there's no reason
@Anonymous wrote:So I thought I'd try to get my first store card over the weekend - the Amazon store card, for a new entertainment system I want to buy. I was approved for $2200, but this isn't enough.
Since it was over the weekend, I waited til this morning (Monday) and called to see if they'd give me more - all their CLI requests are SPs, but the analyst said no!
I was surprised, as I have a very low utilization on all my other cards and could easily put this and other purchases and get points elsewhere.
So I'm curious, to those who have this card, what was your starting limit, and what kind of CLI's have you experienced over what time period?
I've read some posts of people starting with <$1k limits growing slowly over time, and other posts where starting limits of >$2k seemed to grow faster. Interested in your responses.
I got this card on 02/2013 with a CL of $400. I've gone from $400 to $900 to $1,500 to $2,000 to $2,500. However, the last 3 times I've tried, I've gotten a letter that stated, "This account has reached the maximum credit increases our policy allows."
I started with a limit of $800 11/14. My current limit is $2250. I regularly requested increases (sorry can't remember how much I got each time) and I got one small auto increase. I've used the card maybe four times since I got it.
started at $1100 still at $1100 haven't asked or received a/an cli
The time frame is interesting
Approved 2010- 500 CL
2012- 700
2013-1000
2014-1700
These were auto increases everytime I asked theyd tell me no then 2 months later I get one. weird.
