I have the Amazon Visa Chase card and have had one statement so far. My SL was only $500 and I didn't recon it at the time, but with  Prime day coming up and back to school shopping I want to request an increase. Will it be a HP or a SP. Is it too early to expect one? Thanks!

User requested credit line increases on the Chase Amazon card usually result in a HP

Unfortunately it will be a HP and most likely unsuccessful at this stage. Chase wants to see history before increasing a limit, and the 500 is a borderline approval to begin with

If you have another Chase card, you may be successful moving some of its credit limit over to the Amazon Visa.

I wouldn't try it. The risk of the HP denial is too high.

It's going to be a HP. I have tons of history with mine going back to 2009 and I've called multiple times for a CLI and they always want to do a HP.

This is so true HP everytime, I just had mine approved on June 29th and I called them to recon on CL the next day and I was told they are going to pull my report - I was like seriously? whats difference will it be for literally 12 hours??? he said ok ma'am wait... 12 seconds later, sorry DENIED.... duh....
