I'm happy with my $5k Freedom I got in July, but I am not comfortable taking a 5-10pt hit on my fico just because Chase is a tightwad. Even Barclay's told me it'd be a HP for a cli the other day. Grrrr!!

Do you know if I can still recon for a better limit once I get the card without a hard pull??? cause I think I'll just try to PFD the collection that was the reason for denial initially.... maybe they can soft pull it if it's only within 30 days?
