I applied for Amazon credit card in August 2012 and they approved me for a store card. I can't remember for how much but my credit limit in the past year is $2300. I was wondering if they do auto increses and if they ever transfer the store credit account to a Visa rewarda account. Anyone was lucky to get a transfer?
Walmart approved me for a store card in the same day, gave me $900 and Later $1200 but a month ago, without me asking for it also, they transfer the account to a Walmart Discover card with $2500 credit limit. it is a first for me so I am curios if Amazon or Target are doing the same thing, ever.

Nope. Amazon's Store Card is offered by Synchrony Bank (formerly GECRB). Chase offeres an Amazon Visa, but they're a different lender. if you want an Amazon Visa, you would have to apply with Chase.
Target only offers their store card currently for new applications. They used to offer a Target Visa, which they discontinued in 2010. There are currently no upgrades on this card, either.

Amazon Store Card is issued by GECRB (which recently changed their name to Synchrony Bank) while their VISA card is issued by Chase. Because they are issued by two different banks, such transfer is not available or possible. You'd have to apply for the VISA card directly. (Unless Chase takes over servicing Amazon.com store cards too - which I don't see happening soon).
I see. This kinda sucks because I don't think I want to apply for more credit cards.... I already have 4 HI on my credit ( one will go away in 2 months) And I really dream of having just 2 HI a year in the next few years. My fico score is 691. I started my credit 7 years ago and it is growing so damn slow because a frigging late account ( rent related)
